First of all, a most heartfelt thank you for accepting our (somewhat ungracious) initial invitation to our wedding. I hope that in time when plans are finalised, a more formal invite will wing its way over to you.
In the meantime, since the wedding will undoubtedly require a lot of organisation, and to avoid mass emails that you might have to remember to file / not to delete / not to consign to deepest darkest cyberspace etc., we decided that the Internet would be the safest place to store the vast amount of information we will be throwing at you in the next couple of months. And if you know us well enough to be traipsing all the way to Kenya for our wedding, you probably know us well enough to realise that by "we", it basically means I will be posting all the details. Hey ho.
We are both really glad that you'll be joining us, and rest assured, if this wasn't such a massive organisational challenge (and we didn't both have full time jobs), we would never resort to anything quite so cheesy as a wedding website.
